ENTREPRENEURIAL PRIVATE EQUITY
Queens Lane Capital is a private equity investment firm that partners with and invests in high quality, outstanding and leading Australian businesses.
We are actively involved in operations and strategy and work hand-in-hand with ambitious management teams and entrepreneurs to drive value creation.
We seek transformational growth in our portfolio companies through ambitious organic growth strategies, rollout plans and acquisitions. We are industry agnostic but have a particular passion for consumer facing businesses. Our focus is on mid-market control investing, and we generally look to invest $A10m to $A50m per deal. The types of opportunities we focus on include:
Growth opportunities
Investing in companies that demonstrate an opportunity for above-average growth. This strategy often involves Queens Lane Capital partnering with entrepreneurs and founders to provide support through growing pains and assist in realising the full potential of high-growth businesses.
Special Situations
Queens Lane Capital aims to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing in stressed, distressed or event-driven opportunities. Examples include subsidiary divestments, management buyouts and transitions, shareholder disputes and leveraged finance workouts.
We are actively involved in operations and strategy and work hand-in-hand with ambitious management teams and entrepreneurs to drive value creation. In doing so, we leverage a long track record of business success, considerable IP and unparalleled networks within the Australian market. Importantly, we don't report to external committees and therefore are agile and flexible in structuring transactions and developing growth plans.
